Travelin' Girl

Willie traveled to many places with us during the first and second trimester.  We plan to keep this going soon after she makes her grand entrance.

April 2011 - First visit to Reno & CA with Aunt C!  Didn't go in, but at least Willie got her first glimpse of the Pacific.

April 2011 - First view of the Golden Gate bridge with Aunt C!

April 2011 - We had to hit up the Alameda Antique Faire for roasted corn, waffles and oh yeah... fun antique finds for the nursery!

April 2011 - Our score from the Alameda Antiques Faire! Art deco kitties to inspire the color palette and decorate the nursery.
July 2011 - We made a quick visit to FL in March and another visit in July for Grandma & Grandpa V's 40th anniversary, the launch of STS-135 the final Space Shuttle launch EVER, visits with wonderful friends, and her first visit to the Atlantic Ocean.
July 2011 - STS-135 - the last Space Shuttle launch EVER!
July 2011 - Willie's first (and certainly not last) visit to NOLA. One of mom & dad's favorite places!
July 2011 - No visit to NOLA is complete without Cafe Du Monde beignets. Mom & Willie thoroughly enjoyed these little lovelies!
July 2011 - We visited another one of our FAVORITE places... Colorado!  We visited with great friends, dad enjoyed great beer and we all enjoyed great food (Snooze pancakes and bay of pigs!!!). Willie made her first visit to Rocky Mountain National Park (first of many!) and attended her first concert - Fleet Foxes @ the Fillmore in Denver!
July 2011 - First visit to Bear Lake - Rocky Mountain National Park
August 2011 - We took our final road trip for a while to MN and North Dakota.  It was a wonderful visit with friends and lots of family. Willie even got to "meet" her great grandma & grandpa for the first time!
August 2011 - No trip to ND is complete without PULL TABS! And Willie was our lucky charm!
August 2011 - Gorgeous dahlia from Grandma S's garden
August 2011 - We headed back home through some nasty weather, but we got a rainbow or two out of the deal.
