We're back... And RNASA fun!

Wow, it has been entirely too long since I've blogged.  Life has flown by and believe it or not, Wilhelmina is almost 18 months old.  CRAZINESS!  She gets more amazing by the second and we are all having so much fun.  Not sure what life was like without her. :)

I'll work on doing some back tracking and recap the last 10 months.  But for now, I wanted to mention the RNASA event I was a part of this weekend.  My wonderfully supportive manager nominated me for a Rotary National Award for Space Achievement (RNASA) Stellar Award again this year and all of the fun events occurred this Friday.

While I didn't win, it was still a huge honor to be nominated and so much fun to get all dressed up and mingle with lots and lots of awesome people involved with the space program (past, present, and future) at the RNASA awards dinner.  We got to meet and joke around with Gene Cernan (the last man on the moon), shake Charlie Bolden's hand (current NASA administrator), and have a fun night out.  Wilhelmina thoroughly enjoyed herself too. We were a little nervous as this was the first full night out that we left her home with a sitter. But she had a wonderful time with our sweet, sweet friend.

We've got lots to revisit and lots of fun ahead this summer, so I'll do my best to keep up with this more...
